What Would Jesus Trust?

Yeah the heat comes fast and the doubts come loud
Voices talk tough, try to pull me down
But I don’t flinch, I don’t run away
I lift my shield when the arrows spray

Every word they throw, every fear they aim
Can’t touch my soul when I trust His name

I raise my shield, let the fire fall
Faith stands tall, I don’t feel it at all
Fear gets stopped, lies don’t stay
When I lift my shield, they bounce away
Yeah I lift it high, yeah I stand my ground
Faith up front, hear the freedom sound

Seen some storms, yeah I felt that shake
But I know the promise, I know what He said
Not what I see, not what I feel
I trust what’s true, I know what’s real

When the night gets long and the road feels thin
I remember how it all ends

I raise my shield, let the fire fall
Faith stands tall, I don’t feel it at all

Faith ain’t blind, it’s grounded strong
Built on truth that’s carried me on
Every promise, every word
Still holds firm, yeah it still gets heard

Shield up
Eyes front
No retreat
All trust

I raise my shield, no backing down
Every fiery dart hits solid ground
I don’t shake, I don’t sway
Faith leads me all the way

Trust Him.
